BYU Game

With Shane playing for BYU and my parents being serious BYU fans they purchased season tickets. Their season tickets are about 5 rows from the top of the stadium on the north end, right in the middle. They are great seats, but on Oct. 11 they had even better seats with Carrie and Kace - Row 7. It was a cold game but fun. With my parents siting with Carrie, Dave and I got to enjoy their seats - THANKS!

Golf - Who Can Beat Cody?

The answer to this question is...DAD! Dad was very proud of himself when he told me that he actually beat Cody at golf.

Pictures from the Church History Tour

Our Kansas City and Nauvoo Trip

We had a great time on our trip! The first 4 days we were in Kanasa City. We were invited to a big party at Union Station. The whole complex was open just for the NACo Members. We had dinner, entertainment, dancing, fireworks, a science center, etc. The theme was Get Jazzed in Kansas City. They gave the men black hats and the women white beads to wear.

Wednesday morning the tour bus picked us up for our Church History tour. It was nonstop sightseeing and educational talks and explanations of the sights we were seeing. Our tour guide had tones of stories to tell us about other tours as well. We saw Independence where Zion will be built, Liberty Jail, Adam-Ondi-Ahman, Far West, Hannibal (hometown of Mark Twain), Quincy, Warsaw, Nauvoo, Carthage Jail, Garden Grove, Mt. Pisgah, and Winter Quarters. We road all the way across Missouri and then back all the way across Iowa, as well as spedning a couple of days in Nauvoo.
The Nauvoo Pageant was awesome! It is now directed by the old Children's Chorus teacher, Brad Thompson. He said to tell you all hi. He will be there for the next four summers I think.
We had a great time, but there is no place like home. It's good to be back. See you all soon at Bear Lake.

Cousins Camp

We had a great time with the older grandchildren this week. We loved spending time with them. We hiked to Timp Cave on Monday, then went to Chuck A Rama (which the kids all loved), and then to Wall E. Tuesday, we spent most of the day at the zoo. The bird show was pretty awesome. We stopped off in Park City on the way home to surprise Steve at work for his birthday. We called Lesa to see if they were home, and she said we should meet her at Steve's work. He was really surprised by all of us showing up. After supper, we played Disney Scene It for a while. It was great to have the kids here. We love you all!

Carrie & Shane's Wedding Montage

For those who watch it and have low to mediocre internet bandwidth, push play then pause again and let the bluish buffer build up for a minute or two before viewing so you can watch it without it pausing to catch up to itself.

Sara's Program

Grandpa, Grandma, and Kassidy went to watch Sara's school program. Sara did a great job and looked very cute. We went to McDonald's after the program. It was fun!

Grandp's Birthday

After many of the family went skiing with Val for his birthday, we had stew, homemade bread, and birthday cake. We missed those who weren't here, but here are some pictures to keep you close.
